With the St Michael’s Hospice Open Garden 2023 season in full swing, don’t forget to head out to their June gardens and enjoy some fresh air, find inspiration for your own garden, and enjoy delicious cakes and refreshments.
In June you can explore 20 open gardens across five locations: Pett on Saturday, June 3; Winchelsea on Saturday, June 10; Guestling on Tuesday, June 13; Rye on Tuesday, June 20 and Winchelsea Beach (walking tour) on Saturday, June 24. The hospice open gardens events give the public the opportunity to explore beautiful private gardens for inspiration and learn new skills whilst raising vital funds for the hospice in St Leonards-on-Sea.
There’s still time to pick up an open gardens 2023 booklet today for just £1 from all hospice shops, the hospice reception, or select stockists across Hastings and Rother, for full details of the 2023 calendar, which runs through until Thursday, August 17.
Open gardens season tickets are currently available to purchase for £50 per person (until June 10). Each season ticket entitles the recipient free entry into all hospice open gardens locations this year (excluding Sarah Raven’s cutting garden in Brightling) and make the perfect gift for the green fingered people in your life. Our fantastic team of dedicated open gardens volunteers will be on hand to help you enjoy your day, serving hot drinks, cakes, hosting a fabulous raffle with a £250 top prize, a stall with goodies for sale and at most of the gardens there will be some lovely music to enjoy.
