The Kent County Agricultural Society has decided to change the dates for the annual Kent County Show to avoid clashing with similar events in the national agricultural events calendar. It will take place from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12.
The showcase event for farming, the countryside, and rural life in the south-east, with showjumping, livestock and equine showing, flower shows, vintage vehicles, food halls and live entertainment, is a celebration of all that is best in the county.
Lucy Hegarty, show manager, explained “After reviewing agricultural show dates across the country, we have made the decision to hold the Kent County Show a week later than previously announced. It’s important for us to work with similar events to make sure we not only support the farming community in Kent, but across the country. Due to the way the days fall this year, we have found it necessary to move the show to avoid clashing with other events which would impact on all involved”.
