Walking through the nature reserve

Sussex Wildlife Trust and East Sussex Health Walks are launching a new Health Walk at “Britain’s Favourite Nature Reserve” on Wednesday May 3 at 10:15am. These walks will be held each week at the same time and start point.

Health Walks are short (no longer than an hour) gentle walks which aim to ensure that everyone gets the chance to access a free and friendly walk wherever they live, helping them to become and remain active. This walk will be led by trained Volunteer Health Walk Leaders, with a special interest in the nature reserve itself.

The meeting and end point of the walk is at the toilets/bus stop at Rye Harbour. After the walk there will be the chance to carry on and go for a cuppa and a chat at a local café.
