Bereavement during the Covid-19 pandemic, with some restrictions still on movement and limited contact with friends and family, is likely to be the hardest thing possible and in response to this, St Michael’s Hospice has expanded their bereavement services to provide a fast response call back telephone service.

This free service, which is available to adults throughout Hastings and Rother can be accessed directly via a simple form on their website at www.stmichaelshospice.com/our-services/bereavement-services-1/call-back-service

Open gardens, greeting cards, and virtual tours

Bring a smile to your loved ones and send them one of the hospice’s beautiful open gardens greeting cards as a way to say “hello, I miss you!”. You can order six, randomly selected cards from the collection for just £6 (including UK p&p). To place your order, visit www.stmichaelshospice.com and click the green donate button (top right hand corner), in the ‘additional details’ box type GREETINGS CARDS.

The hospice is also offering virtual tours of some of this year’s open gardens on their Facebook page. This gives you the opportunity to see the stunning gardens via video or photo album, as well as giving the dedicated garden owners the opportunity to showcase their beautiful gardens, which they have been working on so hard on for the hospice. For more information, click on ‘search’ and type in ‘virtual open gardens’ at www.stmichaelshospice.com
