A grand total of 55 participants competed in the annual Romney Marsh ploughing match on AA Clifton’s land at the Kent Ditch Corner, East Guldeford last week.
Ploughing was the main event but the day also included a very popular fun dog show. Sheep shearing was demonstrated by local farmer Richard Baker. There were also trade stands by many local agricultural dealerships, a good range of craft stalls, a parade of hounds by the East Sussex and Romney Marsh Hunt and a chance to have a go at ploughing.
All money raised was donated to the Air Ambulance and the RNLI.
