Rye Bay Crew are again taking part in the Rye Bay Scallop Festival 2017, writes Rebekah Gilbert. We are booked to appear on Saturday 18, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February at the Queen’s Head, Landgate, Rye. A mix of favourite shanties to join in with and some new repertoire – we have songs of the sea and maritime-related music spanning 500 years, served alongside Rye Bay Scallop Thermidor followed by cod fillet in a tomato and rosemary sauce with green beans and new potatoes.
Tickets are £22.50 for the two-course meal plus music, and are limited due to the size of the room, so book early!
