On Saturday, February 17 the streets of Rye were thronged with visitors and residents alike. Tim Anderson was giving a talk on scallops at the Mermaid and other venues were doing exciting treats all for the start of Rye Scallop Week.
Rye Fine wines was so busy it had to turn people away as Kyle Tatner was cooking up his usual amazing fayre: scallops with the Tatner twist, not to be missed.
Graeme and Cathy, owners of Rye Fine wines said: “Following the resounding success of Saturday’s scallop day at Rye Fine Wines, Kyle Tatner will be returning next Saturday February 24 to cook his fantastic dishes from 12 noon. If last Saturday is anything to go by, it will be amazing. No booking, just turn up and tuck in.”
