At Little Gate Farm, Beckley, they believe everyone has the right to train for, find and thrive in paid employment and they work with families and businesses across East Sussex to make this vision a reality. Little Gate, which launched in 2013, is a very special place in the heart of the countryside whose aim is to support people with learning difficulties or autism into paid employment.

To enable their work to continue they need funds, and this May as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations, they are launching an event called Little Gate’s Big Cream Tea on Sunday, May 14. Set in the beautiful setting of Little Gate Farm, guests will be served a plain and a fruit home-baked scone, tea or coffee and a glass of Pimm’s or soft drink alternative whilst listening to jazz performed by talented local musicians. The event starts at 3pm, with cream teas served on arrival. The event finishes at 5pm.

Tables will seat ten guests, and seats will be allocated on arrival. 100% of the ticket sale excluding Eventbrite fees will go directly to help fund the work Little Gate does supporting young people and adults with autism and / or learning difficulties to gain employment. Please support this wonderful cause and know that you have had a part to play in enabling these special people to gain employment and self-confidence.

Dietary requirements
For any dietary requirements, please email tracey-annecook@littlegate.org.uk. Plant-
based and gluten-free diets can be catered for with advanced notice. Cream teas will be served under the covering of the beautiful rustic barn with open views to the field and woodland, so if weather is not kind the event will still continue uninterrupted.

Parking is available on-site in an adjacent field. Do consider footwear for walking through the field to access the event. Several disabled parking bays are available also.

As much dogs as dogs are loved at Little Gate this event is not suitable for four-legged friends, apart from assistance dogs. There are three eco-friendly compost toilets, one with wheelchair access.
