A summer day on Winchelsea Beach

Despite the spectacular storm on Saturday night, summer seems to have started at last writes Heidi Foster. The beauty of Winchelsea Beach is that it is peaceful and being a shingle beach, it does not have the crowds of people who flock to Camber Sands instead, only a mile or so away. It was lovely to watch the kite surfers, manoeuvering with expertise and playing tag. Photo: Heidi Foster
