Swim and triathlon coach, Hazel Fulker together with Dean Baker of Forever Tri Club are holding a pre-Christmas swim coaching for adults and children on Wednesday December 13. at Rye Sports Centre
Although based round training for triathlon, this is intended to be suitable for all standards of swimmer where drills and exercises will be learnt that will help to improve your swimming and all designed to be in an informal and enjoyable atmosphere.
The children’s session (any age up to 15) will run from 6pm to 7pm and will be based round having fun and enjoying the experience, while learning how to improve.
The adults session will run from 7pm to 8pm and will once again centre on enjoying the experience while progressing your swimming skills. Whether you are an experienced confident swimmer or nervous and with only limited swimming ability, this session is for you, so come along and try it. Swimming is excellent exercise, very good for you and no one is going to try and push you harder than you want to go.
Over the holiday period, with plenty to eat and drink, the pounds inevitable go on, so rather than wait until the New Year, start to exercise now, get the metabolism working and feel fitter and better over the holidays. The cost is just £6, which includes entry into the pool.
Hazel Fulker is an experienced coach and fitness trainer and an accomplished triathlete with a long list of coaching successes ranging from teaching complete non-swimmers to those wanting to progress to marathon swimming, as well as general fitness training – one adult client who want to improve fitness for tennis, went on to become a seniors world champion . She has been running coaching sessions for several years, based mainly in Camber, and this year alone, 55 children in her classes gained new levels in their swimming ability. She will shortly be holding regular swim sessions at the Sports Centre, so come and try this one and be inspired to get fitter and, if you need to, begin to lose weight in the New Year.
