One of central Rye’s largest private gardens will open on Sunday June 30. Little Orchard House in West Street, Rye will host the Rye Conservation Society  Annual Garden Party.

Completely walled, Little Orchard House’s garden is a quiet haven in the heart of the town just yards from the bustle of the High Street and the Kino Courtyard. It is also home to an 18th-century, four-storey tower, which is visible from many parts of Rye.

Come along and enjoy the garden, eat a classic cream tea – scones, jam and cream with a cup of tea or coffee – and take a trip up the tower. The garden will be open from 2.30pm to 5pm, and the entrance charge is £5 or £4 for members of the Rye Conservation Society.
