If you have ever dreamed of owning a lifestyle business by the sea, Camber Landing “is just the spot” and could be yours if you want it.

After two great years of running the Camber Landing, owner Andrew Dumas has moved back home to the US to be with family. He is now looking to find a new owner for the Landing who can take the business to the next level.

Andrew started Camber Beer and built the Landing all on the premise that Camber  reminded him so much of the US town, Montauk, which is one of the most popular beach towns outside of NYC. Camber has the advantage of being close to London with a big water sports scene, a beautiful sprawling beach, and a vibrant local scene.
Andrew said: “It’s been a great experience building and running the Landing to date, we have an amazing local and London following, excellent Google reviews, Instagram following and engagement and virtual 100% customer retention and loyalty. The business has a lot of growth potential: scaling wholesale Camber Beer sales, merch, retail, deli, events, food, etc.”
Eye-catching business

Camber Sands never fails to deliver, attracting thousands of visitors each year, in fact up to 25,000 per day in the peak season. It’s one of the UK’s favourite coastal destinations, always a firm favourite with young families but also with kite surfers and thrill seekers who descend regularly, enjoying a range of water sports often taking to the sands in windy weather when visiting numbers are mainly made up of dog walkers and joggers.

Camber’s national popularity changes with the seasons but it never dies, the stunning sunsets and sunrises are a photographer’s dream, the dunes have featured in many films over the years and only last month crews were filming on Camber beach for the upcoming historical drama movie, Pressure.

Rother District Council are investing in the infrastructure at Camber and as we speak, contractors are remodelling and rebuilding the existing toilet facilities and coastal operations office at car park central in Camber which will also create a new Camber Sands welcome centre and storage facilities for the RNLI.

Parking is still free at Camber’s Broomhill Sands car park, a fabulous facility which is well used whatever the weather and a firm favourite with dog walkers and winter visitors. Camber attracts visitors all year round.

If you fancy a change in direction and the chance to invest in Camber’s increasing popularity, this is an opportunity to buy an established local business situated in a prominent trading position in the heart of the community.
