The big show is back

It’s not long now until one of the highlights of Rye’s summer – the Rye and District Country Show – which takes place at Elm Tree Farm in Icklesham on Saturday August 17 10am-4pm.

Once again, the show is raising money for St Michael’s Hospice which costs over £14,000 a day to provide their much-needed services.

Rye and District Country Show takes place at Icklesham on August 17

This year’s Rye and District Country Show promises something for everyone. We are delighted to present the horse, dog and classic car shows, as well as tractors, heavy horses, donkeys, blood-hounds and much more. Rides for the kids, sheep-shearing and a threshing machine to watch. Craft stalls offering you quality hand-made products and gifts. Our food stands will offer you plenty of choice, and the hospice tea tent will have home-made cakes and hot drinks. Beer, wine and other drinks will also be available. There will be live music and displays, and Ryebellion drummers.

The Rye and District Country Show is a great way to support St Michael’s Hospice, whilst enjoying all that a real country show offers the whole family.
